Mafia 2 Ultimate Edition Wont open in my pc...?

When launch the application using the launcher it opens a black screen that lasts for about 4 seconds and then disappears.I have intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz, 2GB Ram,805mb Graphics Card and windows 7 Ultimate.
