Ive had pain on my wrist for more than a month now?

My left wrist hurts especialy when I move my thumb. I cant hold anything without painit hurts right where my thumb ends. The end ofthat joint. Its not getting any better as I though it would. What could I have. My sister said it might be because I hold my phone with that hand too much. Sometimes I go to bed with damp or wet hair also.
