What should i prefer/buy XBOX OR PC?

to be honest from a gaming perspective that PC needs replacing, i7 will be standard for "recommended requirements" in the next 6 months or so. To name 2 games; final fantasy 14 and witcher 2 both recommend an i7, your machine will probably not even run these games on minimum so pretty much you're looking at a whole new machine unless you only play older games...however if you're set on repairing your pc i'd pick up this baby: http://www.web-systems.co.uk/?page=Products&pid=5690 affordable, slight upgrade. To be honest if you're not prepared to fully replace your PC for a direct x 11, geforce 560/570, i7 3.0 ghz, 6gb ram machine then I would give up pc gaming for now because we're on the border line of entering a new age for pc gaming...the technology is here, games designers are utilizing it...the release dates just ain't here yet. So although it's my least favourite method of gaming (i do have one and do play it), id have to say the xbox...the pc just wont be worth your money without a REAL upgrade.
