Will it wear your chain on your chainsaw a lot more if you use it on wet wood?

Dry wood, because it is so much harder, will dull a chain much faster than wet wood. That results in more sharpening which in turn results in shorter chain life. As ranger mentioned, it would take days of rain to make any difference in the moisture content of a piece of wood.
